Within our Quality department, we are looking for a Business Analyst to help us work smarter with data and improve our processes.
In this role, you’ll be at the crossroads of business, data and systems. You’ll collaborate with various teams to gain an understanding of how processes currently operate, where there is room for improvement, and how we can translate this into concrete solutions.
What will you be doing?
You’ll delve into processes and try to really understand how they currently operate. Where are the inefficiencies? Where do things go wrong? You’ll use data and reporting to underpin that insight and pinpoint the real problem.
From there, you’ll help develop solutions. You’ll translate business needs into concrete proposals for IT or data teams and monitor the implementation process. You’ll also ensure that new solutions work effectively in practice.
In addition, you’ll work with our dashboards in Qlik. You’ll use them to gain insights and adapt them where necessary, so that they better meet the needs of the business.
You’ll also be involved with our quality processes and systems. You don’t need to be an expert in this area yet, but it’s important that you’re keen to learn more about it.
What are we looking for?
- You speak Dutch fluently.
- We’re looking for someone who thrives in an analytical role and is energised by understanding and improving processes.
- You enjoy thinking in terms of data and use figures to gain insight into problems. You’re not afraid to open dashboards and take a critical look at what you see.
- You also have a strong understanding of how processes work. You can see the bigger picture and understand how different steps are interconnected.
- You don’t need to be an expert in Qlik or quality management systems just yet. What’s more important to us is that you’re interested in these areas and willing to learn more.
- You communicate fluently and are able to engage effectively with various stakeholders. You know how to explain complex matters clearly and ensure everyone is on board.
Specific profile
You have some initial experience in a role such as Business Analyst, consultant or an analytical role involving data. You have already worked with reporting or dashboards (e.g. Excel, Power BI, Qlik…).
You’re someone who doesn’t just accept that ‘this isn’t working’, but wants to understand why something is going wrong and how it can be improved.
What can you expect?
You’ll be taking on a role that makes a real difference, where you can actively help build better processes and a data-driven approach within Quality.
You’ll be given the opportunity to develop further, both in terms of data (Qlik) and quality and process management.
