O'Living
O'LIVING is a residential project located in a quiet street of Olivais, in the east area of Lisbon, less than 5 minutes from Parque das Nações and the Tagus River.
With 86 apartments (from 1 to 4 bedrooms), the windows, balconies or terraces stand out, allowing to take full advantage of Lisbon's light. The architectural project also considers the versatility of spaces that go along the specific needs of each family and, moreover, to each specific stage of their life. For example, apartments where 1 room is separated by sliding doors in order to be used as an extension of the living room, an office, or as a children's room. It is the residential space evolving and adapting to the needs of its users, year after year. In terms of technical solutions and finishes - as told by Architect Miguel Saraiva during an interview with O’People Magazine – ‘the option settled down for materials that offer performance and durability over time and comfort (both physical and visual)’.
In the specific case of the building envelope, technical solutions were selected to meet project requirements as defined in the project. SlimLine 38 Ferro windows were used as a minimalist solution with the 'look & feel' of steel, the CW 50 curtain wall system which, due to its versatility and performance, is a 'best seller' by Reynaers worldwide. The intensive use doors CS 77, tested for 1,000,000 cycles were chosen to ensure good mechanical performance for many years. It’s in the Duplex apartments, on the top floor, we feel seamless boundaries. Large terraces with extraordinary views over Lisbon while the large glass windows allow you to feel that same atmosphere, even inside, while relaxing or working.
