Comfort

Although few architects would say that providing comfort is the primary goal of their work, architecture is about providing just that.  Many people see a building as more than just a safe roof over their heads and understand the essence of architecture, offering a comfortable shelter against the outside world. The main goal is to keep wind, water, cold and heat outside, but more so than ever, that idea is combined with a desire for additional comfort such as acoustic insulation and improved accessibility.
