“We considered light as the key material in our design philosophy, so the villa required detailed planning and cutting-edge glazing solutions,” says Manuel Ruiz Moriche, lead architect for ARK Architects. This idea makes perfect sense, as the Costa del Sol basks in sunshine for 325 days a year. An abundance of solar panels and heat-reflective glass cleverly makes use of the bright Spanish weather, turning Heaven 11 into a zero-carbon emission property for six months per year.

Facing the elements with aluminium solutions
Lofty window solutions were needed, and Reynaers Aluminium specialists helped ARK to make the most aesthetic and functional choice possible. Thanks to our expertise, Heaven 11 today offers 2,230 square metres of light-filled living space spread across three levels. How is this lighting trick achieved? First, our ConceptPatio 155-Lift & Slide (LS) system connects indoor spaces with the outdoor terraces effortlessly. Its highly insulated slim profiles form a glass corner solution, providing you with spectacular panoramas without any fixed elements blocking the view.
Even at their largest dimensions, Reynaers Aluminium windows can withstand the heaviest wind loads.
Heaven 11 also features our premium HiFinity sliding system, which allows for even bigger floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall glass solutions. Triple-glazed ConceptSystem 77 windows pair well with the already highly insulated HiFinity system to ensure ultimate comfort. As security is a key concern to the owners, ARK Architects chose Reynaers Aluminium solutions that can reach superior fire, burglar, and even bullet resistance levels. The villa also features customised sunscreens and heat-reflective glazing to match the site’s unique location. “We studied the sun’s orientation throughout the year and included different degrees of sun screening to reduce the impact of UV rays,” comments architect Manuel Moriche.
