Aluminium colours and finish types: the choice is yours

Choosing the right colour and finish for aluminium profiles is no small matter. Professional advice is a plus in a world of various colour options and finish types. Opt for the perfect solution, tailored to your life.

Aluminium is the perfect material for contemporary building concepts. Coloured profiles in anodised or lacquered aluminium add value to any project. They combine an impressive outside appearance with a pleasant living atmosphere on the inside. But which colour or finish suits your project best?

Bicolour lacquering

Reynaers Aluminium provides frames in almost every colour you can imagine. Over 450 different colour options and finish types are available: metallic or anodised, matt or gloss RAL colours, wood look aluminium or even a special low-maintenance and scratch-resistant coatex finish. And what if the colour of your interior does not match that of the façade? Then we offer two colour profiles, coating the inside and outside in different, matching colours.

To give the surface of a profile the desired look and feel, you can choose between powder coating or anodising the elements. Both high-quality colour techniques, they aim to let you enjoy the lifelong beauty of your windows without having to invest in paint or varnish. As opposed to other materials, powder-coated or anodised aluminium is not affected by UV-radiation and does not rot or bend when maintained properly. The only subtle difference can be found in the aesthetics.

Powder-coated or lacquered aluminium

  • All RAL colours
  • Surface is covered with a top layer
  • Aesthetic value and added protection
  • Matt, glossy, coatex, or metal finish
  • Long-term protection of water and UV
  • Low-maintenance and easy to clean

Anodised aluminium

  • Controlled oxide layer
  • High level of protection with a natural look
  • Preservation original aluminium structure
  • Long-term protection of water and UV
  • Low-maintenance and easy to clean

Coastal areas or larger cities may require an extra level of protection, namely pre-anodisation before being powder-coated. The combination of these two techniques results in the most complete long-term protection of all your building elements.
