Reynaers’ innovative training centre shortlisted for G Awards
Reynaers has been shortlisted for the prestigious Glass and Glazing Industry awards in recognition of the success of its dedicated Training Centre.
Judges at the G18 Awards have shortlisted the leading aluminium systems company in the ‘Training and Development inititative of the Year’ category for its new Training Centre. This is the sixth year in a row that Reynaers has been a finalist in the prestigious awards, showcasing the very best projects, suppliers and campaigns in the glazing industry.
The dedicated Training Centre is part of Reynaers’ Knowledge Centre, a £6 million development in Birmingham’s Northfield. The state-of-the-art facility opened in 2017 following the company’s UK success in both commercial, trade and residential markets and has welcomed more than 1,230 guests since opening its doors.
Rebecca Cope, Marketing Manager at Reynaers said: “We are thrilled to have been nominated for such a prestigious award involving an area of the business that we are so passionate about.
‘‘The investment into training is something that we pride ourselves on as it not only allows us to engage with our partners, it generates higher quality workmanship which ensures our clients are receiving the best possible results.”
A team of four specialised training instructors offer both practical and theoretical training courses within the centre, with bespoke courses also available to suit the individual requirements of fabricators, installers and main contractors. The centre also hosts CPD seminars to meet the needs of architects and induction courses for Reynaers employees.
The G Awards have been running for more than a decade. Reynaers has been shortlisted every year since 2013, in multiple categories including ‘Promotional Campaign of the Year - Trade’ in 2017 and ‘Best New Product’ in 2016.
The G18 ceremony and gala dinner will take place on the 30th November at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
