As part of our marketing plan we continue to promote our brand to the public sector and as part of this plan, in June 2008 Reynaers attended the CIH Exhibition in Harrogate. The Chartered Institute of Housing's Annual Conference and Exhibition is the largest housing event in the UK and Europe's largest housing exhibition. Each year around 6,500 people attend the event in Harrogate.
This year's event was dominated by the impact of the credit crunch and despite the gloomy economic climate the show proved to be a great success producing some major projects and introducing us to some excellent new partners for the future.
It also gave us the opportunity to communicate our company values to various audiences within the public sector. At Reynaers we are acutely aware of our responsibility to take good care of the environment for future generations and in aluminium we have a material that can be recycled over and over again with absolutely no loss of quality.

As a building products supplier, we are constantly seeking new ways to address this issue, the latest campaign being Rey-cycle, which was showcased at the exhibition. Rey-cycle is intended to help contractors and Reynaers Fabricators meet the requirements of the new legislation concerning Site Waste Management Plans which is coming into force in 2008. Our attendance to the CIH exhibition gave us great exposure to people working predominantly in local authorities and housing associations. We believe this exposure was a great opportunity for us and we plan to continue to invest in this area for the future.
