Country Manager South Africa
Description
You’re responsible to start-up sales activities in S. Africa. With support from head-quarters in Duffel you will propose and implement sales strategy for Reynaers Aluminium and will establish local organisation in S. Africa.
 
Tasks :
 
  • Establish and manage the business activity in the S. African market in order to exploit the opportunities to the fullest extent in terms of profitability and growth
  • Selling the Reynaers systems to well identified constructors and promoting them to well identified architects
  • Regular review and follow up of the performance of the sales team, customers, …
  • Develop, propose and implement the approved strategies and plans for Reynaers Aluminium activities, improve them and contribute to the improvement of the service to customers
  • Recruit, ensure motivation, training and development of the human resources which are necessary for the operations
  • Identify, review and implement the business opportunities on a regular basis, ensuring feedback to the Export Director.
  • Regular visit of the key customers, end-clients and investors, sign agreements when required
  • Analyse the competition on a regular basis and report findings to the Export Director
  • Organise all promotional matters on a national level
  • Take final decision on claims within company procedures
  • Co-ordinate in case of complaints, disturbances in the communication chain, exceptional matters and training, specific advice, ...
 
Responsibility :
Reporting to : Export Director
Management : daily management of his team
Financial : direct purchase authority within defined limits
Budget : direct budget responsibility
 
Communication – outside organisational structure :
Very frequent communication with Reynaers Aluminium Duffel, and with the different commercial partners (architect, builder, fabricator, investor).
 
Strategic impact :
Contributes to the success of Reynaers in South Africaby establishing sustainable sales to the local market, and establishing local organisation.
Profile
Training/experience :            
  • graduated in Engineering (building construction, mechanical) or Architect,
  • at least 3 years experience in Aluminum Systems, Construction, Glass, Windows Hardware industries, or similar, in the position of technical sales, sales or marketing
Languages : fluent English
 
Capacities :
  • result-oriented
  • proven sales record in construction industry
  • skilled in negotiations and communication
  • knowledge of marketing and management skills
  • enthusiastic, motivated and pragmatic
  • entrepreneurial attitude.
