On the 20th of July 2008 Bahrain-based Aluminum company Ashbee Metal Cladding SPC (Reynaers authorized fabricator) signed a BD5 million contract with the China State Construction Engineering Corporation for the Era Tower located in Seef Area. Mr. Abdul Hussain Khuder (Era Tower project Chief Executive Officer and the Project owner) is one of the important developers, aiming to develop the markets high rise residential towers. Era Towers’ project team has specified Reynaers systems in this 50 storey new project. Reynaers Middle East technical team has followed the project from its early design stages, to guarantee optimal solutions and value engineering. At this moment Reynaers is also involved in two other main projects with Mr. Khuder and Ashbee Metal Cladding SPC.

DEADLINE
The project is now under construction with China State Construction Engineering Corporation and is expected to be finished by the end of 2009.
MATERIALS
The curtain walling system used is Reynaers CW50 SC with standard mullions and transoms. Reynaers CS59 Pa for the balconies openable parts. For special design features, 150mm high bull-nose has been integrated in the curtain wall.
