There are two ways to apply a coat of colour to profiles: enamelling and anodising. With anodisation a very hard layer of oxide is applied, which hermetically seals the aluminium off from the air. The “metallic aspect” of the profiles remains visible. Enamelling, or lacquering, involves the baking of a coloured coat of powder onto the profiles. And if you are looking to couple the aesthetically pleasing with the usefulpractical, then Coatex is the solution for you: this structure lacquer not only repels water and dirt, but is also more scratch-resistant and especially attractive.
