Soundproof
Silence is a valuable commodity in today’s hectic society. Aluminium profiles pass the most diverse acoustic tests with flying colours. Efficient sound insulation depends on the window profiles, the glass as well as the mounting and installation. These days double glazing is a minimum requirement, i.e., two layers of glass with a layer of dry air in between, which provides thermal insulation. Thicker glass better keeps out noise and glass panes of various thicknesses are twice as efficient. Superior insulation is furthermore achieved using special acoustic glass and fittings with multipoint locks.
Sound insulation is expressed by means of so-called decibels or dB value. The greater this value, the greater the product’s soundproofness. For example, an increase of 10 dB represents halving the noise or in other words doubling the sound insulation.
Windproof and watertight
All Reynaers profiles have been extensively tested for windproofness and watertightness. To give you an idea, they undergo a distortion test to 1450 Pascal, which is equal to wind velocity of 175 km/h – and a safety test to 3000 Pascal (wind velocity of 250 km/h). By way of comparison, 125 km/h wind velocity is referred to as a severe storm by experts. With respect to watertightness our profiles score comparably.

Simple operation
The operation of Reynaers products is exceptionally easy thanks to their tried and tested technology. The lightweight materials and innovative hardware components ensure that all sliding systems, even the larger ones, are easy to move over their entire lifespan. All window and door components, such as rails and brushes are made from high-quality material and are therefore extremely stress-resistant. Even after long and intensive use they can be easily repaired.
Handles and other fittings are very precise and easy to operate. The problem of doors or windows getting stuck is solved once and for all. In order not to accidentally tilt a window turned in a specific position, stops are fitted that prevent incorrect handling.
You can make it even more user-friendly with motorised components. The push of a button is all you need to move windows, doors and sliding doors into the desired position. This is also possible through a central building control.
