Innovative systems
As good thermal insulation is often the necessary first step to achieve energy-efficient buildings, it is one of the main themes for the innovations launched at the Reynaers booth 329 in Hall B1 at BAU Munich.
With the launch of the CS 104, Reynaers achieves unparalleled insulation values for aluminium profiles in the building industry, introducing a solution for passive houses.
At BAU Munich, Reynaers Aluminium also presents the CP 155 highly insulated sliding door with MINERGIE certificate for the first time. Without any loss of its perfect sliding functions, the design benefits from large, expansive glass surfaces combined with strong frames to allow architects and fabricators the freedom to work with innovative, energy-efficient and sustainable design alternatives.
The demanding MINERGIE certificate is also granted to the CS 86-HI window and door system. Using triple-insulated glass, the CS 86 HI aluminium solution reaches a very good insulation level for new building projects as well as renovation projects. The CS 86 HI system is recognized as an ideal solution for environmentally conscious architects, constructors and builders. The system combines design (large glass panes), energy-efficiency and safety standards to meet the latest technical requirements and building trends.
The new high-insulation flush Roof Vent application rounds off the presentation of Reynaers’ product innovations at BAU Munich. This system with flush design integrates harmoniously into post and rail constructions and winter-garden roofs. It is highly recommended for installations in roof positions that are hard to reach, and as a water tight design solution for slightly inclined façades.
The green metal
The choice for sustainable building starts, of course, by choosing sustainable building materials. Reynaers works with one of the greenest materials available, being aluminium. Its high durability and 100% recyclability have established the reputation of aluminium as the green metal.
BAU Munich is for Reynaers Aluminium the opportunity to confirm its commitment to enhance the use of recycled aluminium. Reynaers actively encourages the recycling of aluminium, a process that
requires only 5% of the energy that is required to produce the metal from virgin sources. The recycling of aluminium scrap currently saves around 80 million tones of greenhouse gas emissions each year,
equivalent to removing 15 million cars from the world’s roads.
